Katie + Ben welcomed guests to their Lingrow Farm wedding in Leechburg, Pennyslvania, just outside of Pittsburgh.
A majority of their friends and family live out of state, but with happy hearts traveled here to witness them say their “I do’s.”
Katie and her ladies prepared in the Farmhouse on the property, where I would give anything to live! (unless there are spiders, which is a definite possibility)
She incorporated so many personal details. I loved how in her family, each of the women who were married wrote their name and wedding date on the same piece of paper, and carried the same handkerchief down the aisle. Katie continued this tradition.
The couple did a first look just outside, under a draping pine tree. Such a sweet moment!
To the sounds of “Colorado” by Lotus, Ben watched as his beautiful barefoot bride walked down the aisle and they met under an arch of leaves and branches.
The couple have lived together in Colorado for 6 years, and Ben first professed his love after a music festival that the band headlined.
In the warmth of the sun, guests watched, teary eyed, as the couple gave their vows.
The flower filled barn was transformed into a lovely space for their reception. They nixed the traditional cake and opted for pies instead.
And to replace the Pittsburgh cookie table, they had donuts. And you know what, we are super ok with that. Cookies are a staple here, but donuts you guys!!!!
Much fun was had, and we snuck back out for some portraits at sunset, because why wouldn’t we.
It was the best day, and we were so honored they chose us to share their day with.
