Laura + Nick: Bucktail Overlook Wedding in Benezette PA {Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer}

At the top of the world in Elk County Pennsylvania, Laura and Nick self united in front of their family and friends. This Bucktail Overlook wedding in Benezette offered endless views of rolling hills. It was windy as can be, intimately brushing everyones faces. This day was full of quiet beauty and I was very blessed to be able to capture Laura and Nick’s love for each other. No Elk crashed the wedding but I did see some on the drive home.

I began this unconventional day at the cabin that the family was staying in for the weekend. After preparing, Laura and Nick first looked upon each other down by the river as family sneaked their peeks through the leaves. We began our ascent up the top of the “mountain” and once we arrived I was wowed by the views that they described to me. In western Pennsylvania we have a lot of wooded areas but I don’t often get to see a view like this one. We are talking 360 degrees of beauty. After the couple were united and all of their guests signed the license as witnesses, we went for a hike to a rock city and another overlook. It was supposed to rain this day. We were so blessed to have had the weather that we did. I am so grateful for being able to go on this mini adventure without all of the frills. It was more incredible than I can explain.
