It was so amazing to be a part of Brionna and Seth’s Blennerhassett Island wedding ceremony in West Virginia a few weeks ago. We started the day at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta Ohio, just across the border. Supposedly it is super haunted! The couple chose these venues based on their rich historical merit. When they were starting to plan their day they drew inspiration from classic literature, and the original decor of both locations played nicely into their vision.
The day was hottttttt. So hot. in the mid to high nineties. Everybody was melting. I was impressed how relaxed Brionna and Seth were during their portrait time considering that they had to be close. The wooded ceremony brought relief from the sun. The beams of light created beautiful lighting on everybody, and their portraits turned out magical.
I remember feeling a cool breeze on my face and the warm sun gracing my back while riding the ferry back to the Lafayette. It was peaceful. After half of day of being outside it was what we needed to prepare for the party.
Love was around this day. And it was spectacular. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
